In 2009, our family home in Colorado partially burned down. It wasn’t a total loss, but it felt like we had to start over. During the rebuild, my dad said something that stuck with me: “We need something that makes this house feel like home again.”
So we built an outdoor kitchen — with a wood-fired pizza oven, wine fridge, fryers, and a full grill station. That space became more than just functional. It became the heartbeat of our home. We cooked there, connected there, and stayed close in a way we hadn’t before. That’s the spark behind Vine & Flame.
